Ruby has tested (03/07) HERDA N/N or CLEAR (click on link to view test results) and cannot ever produce a HERDA afflicted foal! Thanks to Cornell University for their outstanding work in making the test available!

Ruby is double bred Clipper Zan/Zan Parr Bar! She has Zan Parr Bar on her papers twice and also has Serenade Song on her papers! Ruby also carries many other outstanding lines such as Total Nine, After Dark, Skips Bid, Torino and many more. We believe she is truly balanced on top and bottom. We are looking for great things from Ruby in both the performance arena and later when she joins the broodmare band.

Ruby joined us as a yearling in 2006 and we continue to be very excited about her future potential for us. She shows tremendous athleticism out in the pasture and will be started under saddle very soon. Because she had some pasture injuries to her front legs before we brought her home and sustained a minor knee injury during the ice storm this past year, we decided to take things slow with her and let her do some more maturing before we started her. While she has never taken a lame step, we wanted to make sure she developed and healed properly for the long run. She has a tremendous personality and mind being completely unflappable and super easy to work with no matter what is asked of her.
